Dan was born in Orange City, Iowa to Bill and Fran Korver.
At the tender age of five, God spoke through an evangelist’s message to Dan’s heart about sin. That night his parents showed him scripture on how he could be saved by accepting the Lord, Jesus Christ as his Savior.
As Dan grew, so did his hunger for knowledge of the Word of God, and by the time he was a senior in high school had decided to attend Southeastern Bible College i Birmingham, AL.
Six years later, Dan came to Tulsa, with his lovely new bride, Jean, to teach at Christian schools. After the schools closed, Dan started a business and began teaching Sunday School.
One Sunday Dan was asked to speak at DHBC. He was called as pastor in 2001 and continues to serves the church today.
